Poutine voulait montrer au monde qu'il était prêt à défendre la Crimée dans une petite démonstration de force. Si c'était dans le but d'intimider, c'est un peu raté. Maintenant l'Europe et les USA N'auront plus d'excuse pour ne pas intervenir et rendre à la Crimée à l'Ukraine.

Putin wanted to show the world that he was ready to defend the Crimea in a small show of force. If this was the purpose of intimidating, it's a little missed. Now Europe and the US do have more excuse not to intervene and get to the Crimea to Ukraine.
