iPhone Alarm Clock Issue Still Not Fixed

The Apple alarm bug was supposed to originally be a weekend issue but users who are relying on their iPhone to wake them up have found that their iPhone still isn’t playing nicely with the smartphone’s clock on January 3, 2011. Despite assurances yesterday from Apple that the non-recurring alarms issue would fix itself by today, many iPhone 4 users are complaining that the smartphone let them down again. The exact cause of the issue hasn’t been explained although a similar problem did occur back in November when the clocks changed. It appears to only affect users with devices running iOS 4.x which is a bit odd too. Not all users seem to be experiencing the alarm problems, although Apple’s support forums have seen multiple disappointed owners given an accidental lie today.

There is still currently no ETA for the fix but we did report a temporary fix that you can use to make sure your iPhone alarm works when you need it to. The temporary fix can be found in our previous post and should allow you to hold off hopefully until Apple fixes the issue, which should be soon.
