CyanogenMod 7 Released; Now Supports Android 2.3 Gingerbread

There is some good news for you AOSP Rom-lovers out there. CyanogenMod nightlies are finally back, meaning that the first official CM7 builds have already started rolling out. We are they that they are probably moderately buggy (although generally, CM nightlies are still pretty solid) and yeah – they do lack some features – but let’s be straightforward: it is still probably one of the most solid gingerbread builds around, regardless of what device you are still using.

As of right now, the myTouch Slide, original Droid, Nexus One, EVO, GSM Desire, CDMA Desire, Droid Incredible, HTC Legend, myTouch4G, G2, Samsung Nexus S, ZTE Orange Boston, HTC Aria, Desire HD, and Geeksphone ONE builds have all been compiled and are ready for mass consumption.
