Apple released iOS 4.3.3 to the masses yesterday. As we had announced that Apple was not going to patch the jailbreak exploit discovered by Stefan Esser aka i0n1c, famous iPhone hacker Comex has confirmed that Esser’s exploit for iOS 4.3.1 and iOS 4.3.2 jailbreak is not patched in the iOS 4.3.3. Simply, it means we will be jailbreaking the latest iOS software easily without the need of any new exploit or tool to be introduced or developed. This is what Comex has tweeted: @i0n1c’s bug is not patched in 4.3.3. #whatisthisidonteven Veeence has also confirmed that its unpatched: So, Apple doesn’t know how to patch @i0nic’s untethered exploit. 4.3.3 is still vulnerable, but the binary (in redsn0w)needs an update. Stefan Esser will re-generate the binaries for iOS 4.3.3. iPhone Dev Team will use this exploit behind their tools. Updated versions of the jailbreak tools should be released soon, though there is no ETA announced yet. We will provide more updates as they become available, so stay tuned by following us on Facebook, Twitter and/or by subscribing to our RSS Feed. You may also like to read: Authors:
