There are some interesting factoids from the survey. Although “On the Road Again” took to top spot overall, respondents from the northeast and men favored Steppenwolf’s most famous tune. The 18 to 34 set, and those who have never married, gave “Highway to Hell” top billing. People in that age bracket also tended to favor songs from the late 1980s and ’90s, including “Paradise City,” by Guns ‘N Roses and “California Love,” by 2Pac.
