In baseball, the national sport in the USA, the drummer is the purpose of sending the ball beyond the property boundary and this move is called a "home-run" or grand slam. It allows the drummer and all runners lying on the ground to score maximum points. This is what explains why recipients are trying anything to avoid providing this opportunity to the opposing team. While we imagine the ball out, one of two recipients returned with the ball as a trophy.
