Has Google’s Cr-48 piqued your interest? What if it was running Windows 7, Ubuntu or even Mac OS X Snow Leopard instead of Google’s new Chrome OS? Well thanks to some hackers managing to break into the Cr-48, you can now run any of those OS’s that you want. The performance is a little slow but despite that, everything works perfectly and is exactly identical to the original systems OS. A downside to this is that after Windows, drivers and updates are installed, you’re left with only about 2GB of space. Even though the space is limited, this achievement is going to open the door for developers everywhere. You can find a tutorial of how to do it here.
