With CES 2011 upon us tomorrow it’s intriguing to have a company make announcement that has nothing to do with CES. HP is stating that there is a special announcement that’s going to be made on February 9th. As for details regarding what the announcement will be covering or what makes it “special” are not known and the only thing we know is that we need to “Think Big, Think Small, Think Beyond”. This is leading to us to believe that there will be more than one product announced on the 9th. It’s possible that “Think Big” refers to a webOS-powered tablet, while “Think Small” could easily mean a new smartphone is on the way.

What do think is on the way from HP and why do think they chose to make the announcement not at CES but a month later?
