During the Keynote speech from Verizon’s CEO Ivan Seidenberg everyone was on the edge of their seat waiting for the news that everyone expected to hear, but that news never came. We were all left shocked with our jaws on the floor when the keynote address ended and there had not been a single mention of the CDMA iPhone for Verizon‘s network. As for now we’re left clinging to the hope that maybe such a large announcement would be made by Steve Jobs at an Apple event rather than at CES 2011, hopefully. When do you think Verizon will stop teasing us and announce their plans for an iPhone on their network?
Macrumors reports about the keynote address:
Seidenberg’s presentation instead focused on Verizon’s LTE and FiOS networks from the perspective of an integrated data access environment, and included the appearance of executives from Time Warner, Motorola, and Google to demonstrate such concepts as “TV Everywhere” that would allow customers to view their video content on a variety of devices over a number of different connections, as well as next-generation mobile devices and software that can take advantage of Verizon’s LTE network speeds.
