@MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev-Team has just confirmed via a tweet that the no UltraSn0w unlock for iPhone 4, 3GS will be released until after 4.2.5 or official 4.3 (whichever is last) is out.

Apple has seeded iOS 4.3 beta 1 to the developers, and Verizon announced CDMA version iPhone 4 to come with iOS 4.2.5. We expect that iOS 4.3 will be a unified iOS firmware for both AT&T’s GSM and Verizon’s CDMA iPhone 4. So, if iOS 4.3 comes out after iOS 4.2.5 then UltraSn0w unlock for iPhone 4, 3GS will be released only after iOS 4.3. For all those eagerly waiting for an unlock and an untethered jailbreak, please be patient!
