Apple unveiled iOS 4.3 at the iPad 2 media event, and announced that iOS 4.3 software update will be released on Friday, March 11th. However, we’ve heard quite a few rumors that Apple will release it few days earlier than the announced date. Boy Genius Report claims that according to their sources it will be released today, while folks at The Loop claim that it will be released tomorrow. BGR reports: [..] we’ve also been told iOS 4.3 will be available for download publicly at 10AM PT today. But The Loop claims: The speculation of iOS coming early seems to be solid, it’s just the day that’s off. If I were sitting waiting for iOS 4.3 to hit, I’d be ready tomorrow. Meanwhile, MacRumors reports that when one of their reader was told by an Apple chat representative that iOS 4.3 will be released tomorrow. While Apple’s sales staff is usually not kept up to date on the company’s product and software release plans, it is possible that Apple has provided the information about the upcoming free update in order to assist its customers. Not all chat support representative are offering the same information, however, as one representative we just asked claimed that the release is coming on Friday as originally scheduled. According to sources at BGR, iOS 4.3 should have been released by now (1:00 PM Eastern / 10:00 AM Pacific), which hasn’t happened so guess we’ll have to wait and see if it will be released tomorrow or on Friday.
