Skyfire Browser Brings Flash Videos To iPad With Facebook Connect

There is some exciting news for iPad fans. The SkyFire browser, which allows you to play

Flash content within a web page is heading to the iPad after launching succesfully on the iPhone with a very cool social feature. SkyFore for iPad comes packed iwth powerful social media features, including embedded Facebook, Twitter, and Google Reader, a “universal” Like button, and the Fireplace, a pop-up window containing a boiled-down Facebook newsfeed that just has posts with the links.

For those of you who don’t already know, the SkyFire browser app automatically converts Flash video into compatible HTML5 format so it is playable on Apple’s iOS, which doesn’t support Flash to begin with. SkyFire is said to be the only mobile browser that supports all major Web 2.0 standards such as Ajax, JavaScript, and Flash, while providing you a Web browsing experience exactly like PC browsing. When compared to the many other mobile browsers, SkyFire Browser loads pages faster and more accurately on any mobile platform.
